My Interview with Linda Kohanov

Linda Kohanov is an internationally renowned, best-selling author. Her five books explore how people can gain important life skills working with horses and learning from their way of being. She is the Founder and Director of Eponaquest in Arizona, and travels the world giving countless workshops and presentations.

Since I began an apprenticeship learning to be an Eponaquest Instructor, the question I have been asked most is: what is Equine Facilitated Learning?

Obviously I have a passion for horses. I have followed my horse heart out of the city and into the country side, become a farrier, moved onto a farm of my own, and most recently, pursued an apprenticeship to become an Equine Facilitated Learning Instructor (EFL).

This week, I graduate.

I’m excited about where this will lead. In time, I’m sure I will write posts about what that journey looks like, but for now there is no one better to describe this work than Linda herself.

It is a privilege to share my very first audio interview about Eponaquest, Equine Facilitated Learning, and why this is immeasurably important in our world today. Enjoy!

  1. What a great interview! It was so nice to take the time to just sit and listen and learn. Alfie was very attentive. As much as I love reading your posts, I hope you will explore the audio format again! Congratulations on completing your apprenticeship! I’m so excited for you!
